Some recommended awards to entrants and some gave a prize for winning entries. For details see our page on\u00a0<a title=\"Sponsors and Prizes\" href=\"https:\/\/competition.letchworthfestival.org\/?page_id=23\">Sponsors and Prizes<\/a>. A first round of judging took place on 9 November 2012 to give a provisional shortlist for the prizegiving, which was finalised in the week after that. We also gathered public responses to viewing all models entered, but those comments did not affect the judging process.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><em>All sponsors were invited to take part in the judging, based on the aims of their company\/institution\/group and their personal expertise.<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Each judge was asked to review all entries and pick the one that best fulfils what their organisation is looking for and briefly to explain their choice.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Please bear in mind that having reviewed all the entries, a sponsor may choose to withhold their prize. <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We produced still (2D) and video (3D tour) views of each model and made these available to the judges. The judges&#8217; conference was at 10:00 on Friday 9 November in the Letchworth Arts Centre Cafe.
