Better still, make that happen, perhaps by holding its prize-giving in the Letchworth Festival, 7-13 June 2013 website<em> (to follow&#8230;)<\/em> &#8211;\u00a0<a title=\"Letchworth Festival 2013: Facebook page.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/letchworthfestival\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a> &#8211; <a title=\"Letchworth Festival 2013 on Twitter.\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LetchworthFest\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>When new developments take place that change the appearance of any part of Letchworth, add a 3D model of the result, with &#8220;Newly constructed&#8221; in the Titler or Description. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Notes:<\/em><\/span> <em>Don&#8217;t use <em>Google Earth<\/em> to anticipate new developments, though you can do so in the 3D Warehouse. You can invite the developer&#8217;s architects to lend or convert their 3D models but they may not let you use them, even with full acknowledgement. Usually the plans submitted to a local authority only contain 2D views, whilst the architects keep custody of their 3D models.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Find 3D digital modelling competitions elsewhere in which to hone your skills, perhaps for future use in 3D Letchworth. <a title=\"Search expression for finding 3D competitions - in English.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;q=3D+digital+modelling+competitions&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=UTF-8&amp;redir_esc=&amp;ei=1Iu8UOv_BaLO0QXEmoHoAQ\" target=\"_blank\">search<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Post handy tips and notices e.g. from the forum &#8220;3D Modeling for Google Earth &amp; Maps&#8221;\u00a0<a title=\"Forum: 3D Modeling for Google Earth &amp; Maps.\" href=\"https:\/\/groups.google.com\/forum\/?fromgroups=#!forum\/3dwh\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Encourage people elsewhere to take part in &#8220;crowd sourcing&#8221; of our stock of 3D models, using the photographs in StreetView and the sets in our page on Learning &#8230; <a title=\"Learning to use SketchUp\" href=\"http:\/\/competition.letchworthfestival.org\/?page_id=35\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Invite the civic societies and other community groups in Garden City* settlements\u00a0around the world to illustrate their inspiring principles. <a title=\"Developments influenced by the Garden City movement.\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Garden_city_movement#Developments_influenced_by_the_Garden_city_movement\" target=\"_blank\">list<\/a> *<em>whether called that or not, since<\/em><em> the term &#8220;Garden City&#8221; has been widely misapplied or the founding principles lost through redevelopment.
