That is probably still the case if you are blind.<\/p>\n<p>However in terms of visually impairment this concern now seems misplaced. It turn out that computer-based design software, used with magnification so as to work on part of a design at a time, gives the precision and convenience for producing award winning results. That is the experience of David Hampson, winner of the BBC Radio 4 competition for Children in Need to design a limited edition, digital radio: <a title=\"BBC announces winner of competition\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/mediacentre\/latestnews\/2012\/today-digital-radio-winner.html\" target=\"_blank\">notice<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Slideshow of winning entries\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-18635356\" target=\"_blank\">picture<\/a><em>, <\/em><a title=\"Details of radio design competition.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b008dk4b\/profiles\/today-programme-design-a-radio-competition\" target=\"_blank\">competition<\/a><em> &#8211; <strong>which is now available to order<\/strong><\/em>.
